Life beyond the dining room...

Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog. This is my first post, so I hope you enjoy! Make sure to "follow" my blog (on the right side of the page) to get updates.

Those of you who know me, know that I'm living in a dining room right now. Yes, a dining room. After finding out in October that I would be moving to Stl, I knew I needed help. You see, I still had a lease to fulfill in another town until May of 2012. But, luckily my sister lived in Stl already, and had an empty dining room waiting for me. She graciously let me move in (so I wouldn't have to pay 2 rents) and I have been there ever since! It hasn't been too bad, but I'm definitely ready for my own space. Which brings me to the next topic...WE ARE MOVING SATURDAY!!!

Jessica, Katie and I are moving into an awesome house and I can't wait to show you.
Please note that the following photos were sent to me from my landlord, right after he finished up the remodel.

Here it is! It's a very old house (not sure when it was built) and it has been completely remodeled/updated.

This is the back. That room on on the back with the 4 windows is an addition that was added during the remodel.

Entryway with beautiful stained glass.

One side of the kitchen. Love the cabinets that go all the way to the ceiling! (the ceilings are 9.5')

Other side of kitchen (please excuse the tools on the counter). That doorway goes into the dining room.

The addition. The doors go out to the deck and backyard. There's also a full bath on the right wall that you can't see in the photo.

Upstairs master bedroom closet.

Another view of the master. You can see a little of the bathroom, although I don't believe it was finished when this picture was taken.

Another bedroom. Aren't the shelves and window seat so charming?! I LOVE them.

This is the last bedroom. Not really a good photo but these closets are seriously awesome.

Did I mention our laundry is UPSTAIRS? I'm super excited about this, cause nothing is worse than dragging laundry down steps.

A view of Cocoa's new backyard! I'm sure she will love chasing squirrels and barking at the neighbor's dogs from back here.

And finally, the best part of the whole house... MY ROOMMATES! I love these 2 dearly.

Can't wait to share more photos once we move in! I want to decorate this house on a budget, so I will be sharing my updates on that with you all. Wish us luck on our move!
